2% increase in water inflow to the reservoirs of the country’s dams

The report of Iran Water Resources Management Company shows that by December 28 of this year, the amount of water reserves in the reservoir of the country’s dams has reached 26 billion and 370 million cubic meters.

According to the Ministry of Energy, according to the statistics of the Basic Studies Office of Iran Water Resources Management Company, the total capacity of dam reservoirs is 50 billion and 500 million cubic meters, which shows 52% of the reservoirs are full.

Accordingly, due to the favorable amount of autumn rainfall, the volume of water inflow by the end of December was equal to 7 billion and 180 million cubic meters, which compared to the same period of the wet year before it was 7 billion and 10 million cubic meters, indicating a two percent increase in inflow Water is in the reservoirs of the country’s dams.

According to this report, the latest situation of the country’s dams shows that by December 19, the amount of water reserves in the dam reservoir has reached 26 billion and 370 million cubic meters, which is a one percent increase compared to the 99-98 water year.

According to these statistics, due to the amount of inflows to the country’s dams, water outflow from dams has decreased and so far we have witnessed 7 billion and 980 million cubic meters of water outflow from the country’s dams, as compared to the same period last year , Has decreased by 16%.
