An informed source in the Iraqi government on Monday announced the formation of a committee by the Iraqi Popular Rally headed by “Abdul Aziz Al-Muhammadavi”, the deputy head of the popular mobilization known as Abu Fadak, to investigate rocket attacks in the Green Zone, according to ISNA. informed.

This is the first time that rocket attacks have been investigated by the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Organization.

In an interview with Shafaq News, the source said: “The Rally Organization has formed a committee to investigate the rocket attacks on the Green Zone and the US Embassy in Baghdad, headed by Abu Fadak.”

He added: “The formation of this committee was done after accusing the women of the branch mobilization organization of being involved in these rocket attacks and facilitating the transportation of rockets with the official vehicles of the branch mobilization.”

The source also noted that the order was issued by Faleh al-Fayadh, head of the Popular Mobilization Organization, following a meeting last night with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi.
