According to the Baaqtesad news website, an official at the Central Bank sent a letter from Abdul Nasser Hemmati, the Governor of the Central Bank, to Supreme Leader In this letter, the Governor of the Central Bank has presented a report on the situation of providing the currency needed for basic goods for the Ministry of Silence.

He, who did not want to be named in the news, added: The purpose of sending this letter is to provide a documentary report to Supreme Leader And to assure them that the central bank has performed its inherent duties carefully.

He said: “Unfortunately, in recent months, some government agencies have blamed the Central Bank for the problems in the field of customs clearance of goods left in customs, accusing the Central Bank of not allocating foreign currency in a timely manner.”

The central bank official reiterated that the bank was opposed to importing in the applicant’s currency and believed that the decision would have consequences for the Iranian economy.
