Police arrested a child kidnapper in Babolsar.
According to ILNA, the Babolsar police commander said: “Following the news of the abduction of a baby in this city, the issue was placed on the agenda of Agahi police detectives.”
Colonel Hossein Zare added: “Police detectives found out in the investigation that an unknown woman had abducted this infant child by gaining the trust and deception of the baby’s mother.”
He said: “Police detectives identified the hideout of the baby kidnapper and with judicial coordination in a special operation while arresting the kidnapper, returned the baby to his mother’s arms.”
Colonel Zare added: the accused was handed over to the judicial authority after his arrest.
The Babolsar police chief called on families to refrain from leaving them alone when they go out with young children, thus preventing criminals from committing criminal acts.
