According to Tejarat News, the circulation of passenger products has improved in the first 9 months of this year, but with the production of new cars. Both Iran Khodro and Saipa have started producing new products, although their circulation is very low.
According to the statistics published on Kadal website, the three domestic automotive giants (Iran-Khodro, Saipa and Pars-Khodro) have produced a total of 628,547 units of various passenger products during the first 9 months of this year, which is an increase of more than seven percent compared to the same period last year. Experience circulation.
In the meantime, Iran’s cars have the highest circulation, as they have been able to produce 342,173 passenger cars by the end of December.
This statistic shows that the production of Iran’s largest automaker has grown by 34.4% compared to the same 9 months last year. From Saipa, however, it is reported that this company has gone through 9 months of this year with a downward trend compared to the same period in 1998.
According to the financial statements submitted to the stock exchange, the second largest automaker in the country produced 256,185 units during the first nine months of this year, and therefore, compared to the same period last year, saw a decrease of 16.6 percent.
Finally, the carmakers have been able to increase their circulation for the first nine months of this year compared to the same period last year.
Iran’s third largest automaker has produced 72,740 passenger cars by the end of December this year, which is only 59 more than in the first nine months of last year.
Special road giants, however, have faced an increase in production in December compared to November. According to the announced statistics, in the ninth month of this year, 84,522 units of products were produced by the three major automakers in the country, which shows a growth of 25% compared to November. Meanwhile, Saipais have produced 22,550 units during December of this year to experience a 18.4% increase in circulation compared to November.
On the other hand, Irankhodro has experienced a 35.2% increase in production compared to November, considering the circulation of 55,249 units during December.
Pars Khodro, however, reports that the company has produced 6,723 units in the ninth month of this year. Comparing this statistic with the circulation of November this year shows that Iran’s third largest automaker has experienced a 13.8% decrease in production.
The cumulative and monthly improvement of passenger car production in the country, however, comes at a time when the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade has asked carmakers to increase their circulation by 50% this year compared to last year.
Considering that about 860,000 units of passenger products were produced in the country last year, achieving the goal of 50% growth in circulation requires the registration of production of about 1.3 million units. Considering the carmakers’ circulation of less than 630,000 units in the first nine months of this year, they need to produce 650,000 units in the remaining three months of the year to achieve their 50% growth target.
Therefore, they should have an average of more than 200,000 production units per month, which seems very unlikely to happen.
The country’s car industry is currently facing sanctions, while also grappling with the challenge of regulatory pricing and lack of liquidity, so the production of 650,000 units of products in three months is in no way in line with current conditions and realities.
In fact, automakers that have produced less than 630,000 units in the first nine months can not be expected to record more than 100 percent growth in circulation in one-third of this period (compared to the previous nine months of the year).
Tara production started
But let’s take a look at the details of passenger car production statistics for the first nine months of this year to see what fluctuations the special road giants have had during this period. According to the statistics extracted from the financial statements of Iran-Khodro, this company has started producing its new product called Tara.
Accordingly, during the last month, 33 Tara machines have been produced in Iran-Khodro so that this product can be officially added to the special road water production basket.
Tara is in fact the same Peugeot 301 that was supposed to be produced under a joint contract between Iran, Khodro and Peugeot in the post-conflict period, but was prevented by sanctions. Eventually, the Iranians decided to make this product under a domestic name by making changes to the Peugeot 301 and in retaliation for the unilateral cancellation of a joint contract by the French automaker. Tara is likely to launch later this year or early next year.
Leaving aside Tara, the Peugeot Iran-Khodro group (except Peugeot 2008) had a circulation of 248,751 units during the first nine months of this year, which shows a 36% growth compared to the same period last year. Peugeot family circulation has grown, however, while the production of the 2008 model in this company seems to have finally ended.
According to statistics, Iran Khodro did not produce a 2008 Peugeot in December this year, and this could mean the end of the life of this post-production product in the country. According to Iran-Khodro statistics, this company has faced an increase in production in Samand production. According to the published statistics, Iran-Khodro has produced 40,871 Samand vehicles during the first 9 months of this year, and this statistic has caused a 12.3% increase in the production of the desired product compared to the same period in 1998. Iran’s vehicles have produced 40,484 Dena units in the first nine months of this year, to see 99% production growth compared to the same period last year.
Dena is produced in various models, including ordinary, plus and turbo. The increase in production has also included another product of Iran Khodro, namely Rana.
According to the report submitted to the stock exchange, in the first 9 months of this year, 8,576 Rana vehicles were produced in Iran-Khodro, which shows a growth of about 63.3%. But another product of Iran-Khodro called Haima, which is Chinese, and Iran-Khodro has announced that its assembly has stopped, has left a circulation of 3,196 units. According to these statistics, Haima sees a decrease of 29.6% compared to the first 9 months of last year.
The hawk also came
Let’s go to Saipa and see what statistics this company has left in the production of its products during the first 9 months of this year.
According to the statistics provided to the stock exchange, Saipais, like Iran Khodro, have started producing their new product called Shahin. According to published statistics, 45 Shahin machines have been produced in Saipa, a car that has also been pre-sold and will most likely hit the market before next year.
Iran’s second largest automaker in the production of Tiba has left a circulation of 162,943 units during the first 9 months of this year. This statistic shows that the production of the car in question has increased by about 34.8% compared to the same period last year.
Tiba and Shahin were not the only passenger products produced by Saipa in December, as the company also had two Chinese cars including Ario and Changan in its product portfolio last month. According to statistics, Changan, which had no production this year and before December, returned to Saipa in the last month of autumn and left a limited circulation (40 units).
Ario, which had a circulation of only 13 units before Azar, has registered 111 units in its name last month. If the assembly of Changan and Ario continues and the production of falcons flourishes, Saipa will see a variety of production after a period of several months of product poverty.
Let’s take a look at Pars Khodro, a subsidiary of Saipa, whose most of its products in the first nine months of this year were borrowed from the parent company.
According to statistics, Pars Khodro has assembled 3,283 Brilliance vehicles in the first 9 months of this year, so that this Chinese car will still have a relatively large presence in the production lines of Saipa Automotive Group. Production of this number of Brilliance is while during the first 9 months of last year, the circulation of the desired product was only 193 units. According to the statistics, the production of Brilliance has increased more than 17 times in the period under review.
According to the statistics provided to the stock exchange, Pars Khodroiha continued to produce Quick and Saina in December. Meanwhile, the circulation of Q200 car group in the first 9 months of this year has reached 32,147 units. Meanwhile, Pars Khodro had produced only 1,771 units of this car group during the first 9 months of last year.
Pars Khodro’s financial statements also show that Saina has left a circulation of 4,832 units in the first 9 months of this year. During the first 9 months of last year, only 16 units of this product were produced in Pars Khodro. In Pars Khodro’s financial statements, ordinary statistics have been published separately from the Q200 family, according to which 5,871 units of the car in question have been produced by the end of December this year.
