The new Capital Renaissance report shows that in 2020, the appetite of American investors to buy Chinese stocks increased and reached its highest level in the last 6 years, despite the trade tensions between the two countries.
The data show that Chinese companies have managed to pocket $ 11.7 billion this year through 30 initial public offerings on US stock exchanges. This is the highest level of capital that Chinese companies have been able to obtain in the United States since 2014. In 2014, Chinese companies raised $ 25.7 billion from their initial public offering on Wall Street.
The report also notes that some Chinese companies have delayed the initial public offering in the United States due to the Corona pandemic and Lukin Kafi accounting fraud.
