Clearance of 9,000 vehicles stored in customs

According to Baaqtesad, Ruhollah Latifi added: out of about 12,700 vehicles that have been in the country’s customs since 1997, more than 9,000 vehicles have been cleared.

Announcing that 1,100 cars also do not have order registration, he said: “In addition, the registration of 400 cars has been canceled.”

The customs spokesman continued: “There are about 700 vehicles left in the customs that had entered the country before the order was registered to receive the order registration at the same time as entering the customs.”

Latifi added: “In the past, customs controlled goods to collect government duties and taxes for countries, but after a while, facilitation laws were introduced along with world customs in addition to control cases, and in many countries, the relevant laws were approved.”

Emphasizing that more than 30 devices in Iran are involved in foreign trade, the customs spokesman continued: “If goods are imported or imported into the country, several devices with different laws are involved.”

He added: “Currently, some of the powers of the devices, such as the standard of the commodity unit, have been delegated and it has been determined to use an honest laboratory and several devices to approve the approved analyzes.”
