Crude oil prices fell

Crude oil prices fell more than 3 percent in trading on Monday due to the news of the discovery of a new, more rapidly spreading version of the coronavirus.

According to reports EconomyOnline As of 11:19 a.m. Tehran time, the pre-purchase price for Brent North Sea crude, the international oil price benchmark, fell 3.27 percent, or $ 1.71, to $ 50.55.

West Texas Intermediate crude fell 3.38 percent to $ 47.44 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

The discovery of a new species of corona in Britain and stricter quarantine restrictions in Europe have raised concerns about the global economic recovery and the return of oil demand.
