An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale (Earth’s internal wave scale) shook Damavand city of Tehran province at 3:05:14 AM on Saturday.
According to Setareh Parsi, quoting the National Seismological Center of the Geophysical Institute of the University of Tehran, this earthquake occurred at a depth of 8 km on the border of Mazandaran and Tehran provinces near Damavand city.

This earthquake occurred at longitude: 52.03, latitude: 35.79 and at a distance of 8 km from Damavand, 12 km from Roodehen and 15 km from Bumhan in Tehran.
According to this report, no damage has been reported so far this morning from the earthquake that occurred 57 km from Tehran and 94 km from Karaj.
