ISNA / Lorestan The representative of the people of Selseleh and Delfan in the Islamic Consultative Assembly announced the agreement of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development with the four-lane road of Nurabad-Nahavand.
In an interview with ISNA, Dr. Yahya Ebrahimi stated: “Considering the importance of the Delfan transportation road to the cities of Nahavand, Malayer, Boroujerd, Arak, Tehran and other cities where most of the traffic and transit of Delfan people is from Ibn Masir and it has a strategic importance.” We introduced the route as one of the alternatives to the north-south corridor.
He added: “The widening of the above route can help the prosperity of the people of this region.”
The representative of the people of Selseleh and Delfan in the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: The four-lane road of Nurabad-Nahavand road can take Delfan city out of economic and social isolation and will be an important step to advance this region in the path of development.
Ebrahimi added: “Unfortunately, the high volume of traffic on this route has caused us to witness fatal accidents on a daily basis, which doubles the importance of making the route four-lane.”
He said: “Fortunately, we requested the four-lane Nurabad-Nahavand transportation road from the Zali three-lane road to Qala Ghobad station, which the Minister of Roads and Urban Development agreed to do so.”
