ISNA:
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health explained how to go to hospitals, offices and clinics during the corona outbreak.
Dr. Sima Sadat Lari said: “Doctors’ offices, hospitals and clinics can be a place for the spread of coronary heart disease due to the accumulation of patients;” Therefore, except for emergencies, do not go to the doctor and medical centers without prior appointment.
He added: “If you see a doctor, ask him to postpone diagnostic-therapeutic measures if there is no problem in your treatment.” If you see a doctor, avoid crowded waiting areas and, if possible, wait in the open until it is your turn. It is also necessary to observe physical distance if you are in the waiting room. Avoid having more than one person in the doctor’s office unless there is an urgent need.
“After returning home, wash your hands and disinfect your personal belongings with a 70% alcohol disinfectant,” Larry said. Ask your doctor or service provider to disinfect the armband of your blood pressure monitor and medical phone after each use.
He added: in case of using the examination bed, we should ask the service provider to change the cover and disinfect the examination chair for each patient. If a blood sugar device is used, it should be disinfected before and after use. Use the mask from the moment you leave home and avoid touching your mouth, eyes and nose.
