He continued: “But there are some other people in the society who do important work and while their work is very effective and deals with the life and souls of all people, but they present without any noise and expectation.” These services are paid and they are appreciated when, unfortunately, they are no longer present, for example, in the second group, we can mention the dear nurses of the country.

He went on to say that sacrifice is always the prelude to victory, adding: “Today, we explicitly say that the dear nurses of our country are examples of sacrifice, kindness and struggle, and we are proud from the bottom of our hearts to each and every one of you.”

Qalibaf also emphasized that nurses are good heroes of the Iranian people, and said: “The story of your sacrifice will always be told by the people of the country in the history of generations and from generation to generation, how you selflessly stood up to problems without facilities and equipment.” You were saved and you sacrificed your life to save the life of our dear nation.

The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly continued by stating that half of the nurses were injured due to coronary heart disease, and continued: “Also, about 100 of our dear health defenders were martyred during this period, and I hope we all appreciate the angels of salvation.”
