Qalibaf: We are determined to support the demands of nurses

According to Eqtesadonline, quoted by IRNA, Qalibaf in this video message congratulating the birth of Hazrat Zeinab (PBUH) and Nurse’s Day, said: “We are facing two groups of people in society, some are those who do not have an important job and the same thing They do not do what is right in their hands and they only make noise and like to be seen, and even if they do minimal work, it is a complaint.

He continued: “But there are some other people in the society who do important work and while their work is very effective and deals with the life and souls of all people, but they present without any noise and expectation.” These services are paid and they are appreciated when, unfortunately, they are no longer present, for example, in the second group, we can mention the dear nurses of the country.

He went on to say that sacrifice is always the prelude to victory, adding: “Today, we explicitly say that the dear nurses of our country are examples of sacrifice, kindness and struggle, and we are proud from the bottom of our hearts to each and every one of you.”

Qalibaf also emphasized that nurses are good heroes of the Iranian people, and said: “The story of your sacrifice will always be told by the people of the country in the history of generations and from generation to generation, how you selflessly stood up to problems without facilities and equipment.” You were saved and you sacrificed your life to save the life of our dear nation.

The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly continued by stating that half of the nurses were injured due to coronary heart disease, and continued: “Also, about 100 of our dear health defenders were martyred during this period, and I hope we all appreciate the angels of salvation.”

He added: “It is in these circumstances that we understand well how Christmas was named as Nurse’s Day with the happiness of Hazrat Zainab (PBUH) and you dear ones showed by your presence in the subject of Corona that you are the real example of this day.”
