Although dual-burner production has grown in the first eight months of this year, the poor circulation of less than 17,000 units indicates that automakers are reluctant to produce and there is significant demand for them. Statistics from the Ministry of Silence do not specify how many of the dual-burners produced belong to the taxi fleet, however, it is highly likely that most of these products (with the exception of the Peugeot Pars model) belong to this fleet.
After all, statistics released by the Ministry of Silence show that Iran Khodroei alone has produced all of the country’s dual-fuel models in the first eight months of this year. According to statistics, the company currently produces the Peugeot 405 on the Khorasan site, the Samand on the Tabriz site, and the Peugeot Pars on the Farda car manufacturing site (a site based in Semnan province) in a dual-fuel manner. Among these three products, the highest production is related to Peugeot 405, because Iran Khodro has been able to produce a total of 7,643 units of this car by the end of November this year. This statistic shows that Iran Khodro has increased the production of Peugeot 405 dual-fuel during the first eight months of this year and compared to the same period last year, by nearly 54%.
But by the end of the eighth month of this year, Iran Khodro has produced a total of 7,323 dual-fuel Samands to increase its circulation compared to the eight months of last year. Accordingly, the production of dual-fuel Samand has increased by 343% during the first eight months of this year and compared to the same period last year. Samand in the dual-fuel model is also one of the cars used in the taxi fleet, and therefore it is unlikely that a significant part of the production of this car to be presented to this fleet.
Finally, during the first eight months of this year, Iran Khodro has also produced 1,722 dual-fuel Peugeot Pars, which, of course, shows a decrease compared to the same period last year.
Accordingly, the production of dual-fuel Pars hosted by Iran Khodro Semnan site has decreased by more than 33%.
